CODE OF CONDUCT
The members of Trophy Breeders subscribe to the following values and Code of Conduct in their game farming practices and dealings with all stakeholders, including buyers, sellers, fellow members, game farmers, professional service providers, regulators and the public:
- To always act with the utmost good faith.
- To adhere to the highest ethical business practices.
- To always act in the best interest of the future of the South African Game Industry.
- To continually strive to enhance the quality and genetics of all wildlife in their breeding programmes.
- To study new developments and apply best practice approaches , including humane breeding and capture practices.
- To promote and support initiatives to encourage empowerment and transformation in the industry.
- To uphold warranties and guarantees in respect of the sale of animals on auction and also on private sales.
- To offer for sale only quality animals, which meet a minimum standard.
